Phlebotomist
$23 - $33 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Alamo, California patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. Monday-Friday schedule with possible weekend and overtime requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other diagnostics
- Enter patient information and process billing with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and complete administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid California state phlebotomy license
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Flexibility to work overtime and attend two-week training
Compensation: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
