• Perform complex account reconciliations and financial data analysis to ensure accuracy
• Prepare financial and statistical reports, including variance analysis and explanations
• Conduct root-cause analysis on financial variances and performance trends
• Support annual audits by preparing schedules and required documentation
• Update financial dashboards, including ratios, charts, and trend analysis
• Monitor financial benchmarks and analyze deviations
• Research accounting standards and document technical findings and policies
• Develop and update process documentation, flowcharts, and procedures
• Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls
• Communicate financial findings clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Provide support for financial questions and operational issues
• Participate in process improvement and special finance-related projects

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• OR at least 60 college credits and currently enrolled in a degree program
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
