Instrumentation Technician

Schedule : Minimum 50 hours/week, up to 68 hours/week. Overtime paid after 40 hours. One long weekend off per month Industry : Industrial Gas / Petrochemical / Commissionin ewWe are seeking an experience Analyzer Technicia ns to support commissioning and startup activities at a major industrial gas facility in Nederland, TX. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and commissioning process analyzer systems and associated sample handling equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant plant startu The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with analyzer systems in industrial gas, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, or related process industrie Key Responsibilit iesPerform P&ID and isometric walkdowns to verify analyzer system installation and construction quali ty.Identify installation discrepancies, incomplete work, and punch list ite ms.Conduct leak testing on analyzer sample lines and tubing syste ms.Inspect, clean, and verify tubing from sample extraction points to analyzer syste ms.Verify proper installation and functionality of regulators, relief devices, and manifold syste ms.Configure and adjust gas delivery systems to required operating conditio ns.Support loop checks and signal verification between analyzers and DCS/PLC syste ms.Start up and commission analyzers includi CO)Carbon Dioxide (C ersGas Chromatographs (G Cs)Perform analyzer calibration, zero and span checks, and functional testi ng.Assist with alarm verification and commissioning activiti es.Document test results, calibration records, redlines, and commissioning repor ts.Work closely with engineers, instrument technicians, construction personnel, and OEM vendors to resolve startup issu Required Qualificat ions5+ years of experience working with process analyzer systems in industrial gas, petrochemical, refining, LNG, or chemical processing environme nts.Strong knowledge of analyzer technologies and sample handling syst ems.Experience with CEMS (Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems) prefer red.Ability to read and interp ret:P& ;IDsInstrument loop draw eetsExperience with tubing fabrication and Swagelok fitti ngs.Familiarity with commissioning, startup, work permit, and LOTO procedu res.Safety-focused mindset and experience working on active construction or startup proje cts.Ability to energize/de-energize 120V circuits is a p Preferred Certifica tionsSwagelok Tube Fitting Certifica tion.Relevant instrumentation or analyzer certificat ions.
