Pathologist

AP/CP or AP Pathologist METRO ATLANTA, GEORGIA (USA). Our group, South Suburban Pathologists (SSP), an established private pathology practice in the metro Atlanta area, is seeking a colleague pathologist to join its dynamic, growing team for a full-time position. Our practice settings include community hospitals, cancer center care, and specialized gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology services. Our professional duties include frozen section evaluation as well as non-GYN cytology specimens. We do not perform autopsies. The ideal candidate will have strong general surgical pathology and excellent communication skills, with a team-oriented approach. Weekend call is infrequent due to the larger size of the group and is generally limited to non-complex blood bank-related phone calls. There is opportunity for professional growth and medical laboratory directorship if desired. We do not have a subspecialty preference for this position and will consider all qualified candidates.
