About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Conscious Sedation Experience Description: Must have experience in conscious sedation. Shifts are day shifts from 07:00 to 15:30. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, with a preference for eye experience. Epic charting experience is highly desired. Patient care responsibilities will involve a range of surgical procedures. Nurses will monitor patient status and assist the surgical team as needed. The unit serves diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and handle patient monitoring. A strong focus on infection control and safety protocols is essential. Nurses will be expected to document patient care accurately and efficiently. Effective communication skills are necessary for interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates must provide a comprehensive work history, including accurate information for the past 7 years. Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring. Candidates must have up-to-date certifications available upon application. Knowledge of current best practices in surgical nursing is preferred.
