You'll join an ambitious creative team where new ideas are encouraged, performance data informs creative decisions, and editors collaborate closely to continuously raise the standard of content. We're looking for an experienced Video Editor with a strong understanding of short-form social media content, organic virality, audience retention, and performance-driven editing. This isn't simply a role for someone who can make videos look polished. We're looking for an editor who understands why people stop scrolling, why they keep watching, and why they engage. You'll create high-impact content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid advertising, websites, and other digital channels. You'll use performance data to continually improve hooks, pacing, music, storytelling, and editing styles. You'll also work closely with two other video editors, sharing creative insights and helping the team push its editing standards forward. Key Responsibilities Edit engaging short-form video content that captures the authentic, hard-working personality of blue-collar and trades-based businesses. Create approximately 5–10 videos per day while maintaining strong creative and brand standards. Engineer content for organic reach and engagement using compelling hooks, fast-paced storytelling, trending formats, music, and retention-focused editing techniques. Analyze performance metrics to understand why content succeeds or underperforms and apply those insights to future edits. Continuously test and refine hooks, pacing, visual treatments, music choices, transitions, and storytelling techniques. Produce content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, social advertising, websites, and other digital channels. Introduce new editing styles and creative concepts that elevate both client content and the agency's own social media presence. Collaborate with two existing editors to exchange ideas, share best practices, and improve the creative team's overall output. Help train and mentor fellow editors through feedback, knowledge sharing, and creative workshops. Manage post-production workflows across both video and photo projects while meeting fast turnaround times. Collaborate with account managers, designers, editors, and other internal stakeholders to develop creative concepts and polished, high-converting visual assets. Maintain consistent branding and quality across multiple projects and clients. Stay current with social media trends, visual storytelling techniques, editing tools, AI-powered creative technology, and emerging content formats. Huzzle
