Talent Acquisition Lead

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to join our growing team and take ownership of recruiting strategy, talent pipelines, recruiting operations, and recruiter development. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys recruiting while also improving processes, analyzing recruiting performance, and helping build a high-performing recruiting team. Responsibilities Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and initial outreach through screening, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding Recruit across a range of technology positions, including Software Engineering, Data, AI/ML, and other technical roles Develop targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs Conduct recruiter screens and evaluate candidates based on technical background, communication skills, career goals, and role requirements Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and deliver qualified candidates Recruiting Strategy & Operations Analyze recruiting funnel metrics, including sourcing volume, response rates, interview conversion, offer acceptance, and time-to-fill Identify recruiting bottlenecks and develop practical solutions to improve conversion and efficiency Develop and improve recruiting SOPs, interview processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate communication Maintain accurate candidate data and recruiting activity in ATS/CRM systems Help establish recruiting KPIs, performance standards, and team goals Monitor recruiting market trends and identify new sourcing channels and talent pools Coach and support recruiters in sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and pipeline management Review recruiting performance and provide actionable feedback Share effective recruiting practices and help standardize successful workflows across the team Support recruiter capacity planning and workload management Take ownership of recruiting initiatives and process improvement projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred Required Skills 2+ years of professional recruiting or talent acquisition experience required Experience managing full-cycle recruiting Technology recruiting experience strongly preferred Experience recruiting Software Engineers, Data/AI professionals, or other technical talent is a strong plus Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, job boards, ATS/CRM systems, or similar recruiting platforms Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills Comfortable working with recruiting data, funnel metrics, and KPIs Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and hiring pipelines independently Previous experience mentoring or leading recruiters is preferred Candidates must have prior professional recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
