Respiratory Therapist RRT - Full Time - Nights page is loaded## Respiratory Therapist RRT - Full Time - Nightslocations: EDH Main Hospital Napervilletime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R42188**Hourly Pay Range:**$33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** **Sign on bonus: $25,000*** **Position**: Respiratory Therapist - Nights* **Location**: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL* **Full Time | 36 hours/week*** **Hours**: shifts will vary Monday - Friday from 7:00pm to 7:30am with every third weekend and holidays **required*** **Required Travel:** Plainfield Emergency Center as needed**What you will do:*** Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures* Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures* Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment* Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians* Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner* Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients* Provide patient and staff education**What you will need:*** **Education**: Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)* **License/Certifications**: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status.* State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure **within six months of employment**.* Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 24 months of employment* NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 24 months of employment* PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 24 months of employment**Benefits (For full time or part time positions):*** Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
