Manager, Data Management, People Experience
HRConnect is the name for AbbVie HR operations and Payroll support and services focused on providing excellent employee experience as a primary principle. This dedicated, globally diverse team is focused on supporting AbbVie Employees, Managers and HR partners in their HR administration and operation needs. Manager, Data Management, People Experience is leading organization, job, compensation and personal data management processes and services. In addition to providing day-to-day management of Tier 2 Data management specialists, this position is also responsible for maximizing the value of the shared service center, leveraging HCM and other technology solutions, and providing tactical project support for HR programs and services.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as liaison with Business Technology Solution, Data and Digital Strategy, Center of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ensuring the delivery of functional integrity and high-quality seamless employee service collaborating closely with Tier 1 team. As Tier 2 Data management HR Services, across the relevant region by ensuring that processes and procedures are in line with guidelines, and that resourcing is managed effectively.
- Providing oversight of annual Performance, Compensation and Benefit programs in relation to employee organization, job and compensation data management.
- Supporting team member inquires and resolving issues by utilizing contact center procedures, policy manuals, knowledge management systems, and other reference materials.
- Meeting and striving to exceed Key Performance Indicators that are aligned to efficient and excellent service delivery.
- Participating in selection, training, and coaching of staff and creating a work environment that builds, engagement and retains talent.
- Managing team performance, procedures, as well as training and quality monitoring processes and programs. Monitoring, measuring, and giving feedback to direct reports on achievement of goals.
- Accountable for supporting teammates developing plans. Escalating team member inquiries in a timely manner when additional research or analysis is necessary.
- Providing inputs, feedback, methods to update, simplify, or enhance processes, procedures, and technologies as required.
- Identifying and leading continuous improvement opportunities and participating in special projects as needed.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 5+ years' experience in HR, HR operations, customer services; 3+ years in supervisory or People management role.
- Strong Business and HR acumen.
- Knowledge of large-scale data management, payroll, time and HRIS systems solutions and strong skills in technologies.
- Understanding of interactions between HR, accounting, and finance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and collaborate well with cross-functional partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, decision-making skills and process orientation.
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed goals and KPIs with excellence mind-set.
- Experience in continuous improvement projects.

- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay Range: $109500 - 208500 USD
Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
