Company Description BOSTON UROGYN is a specialized medical practice located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Role Description Role Description The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care in collaboration with attending physicians, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and formulating assessment and treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include managing follow-up visits, assisting with procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications as appropriate, and documenting all encounters in the electronic medical record. The role also involves patient education on treatment options, post-procedure care, and ongoing management of urogynecologic conditions, as well as coordination with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. This is a full-time, on-site position based at the Wellesley, MA office, requiring active participation in the clinical workflow and occasional support for practice-related administrative tasks. This position also involves some time in the OR as first assist. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current or eligible Massachusetts PA licensure. Board certification (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant; 1 year + of experience in women’s health, urogynecology, urology, or OB/GYN is preferred. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, with the ability to manage both acute and chronic conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary care team.
