Brief Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor with a strong, established book of business to join their team in Woodbury, NY. Candidates must have assets to bring with them upon starting the job.

Position is based in Woodbury, NY, but can also be worked hybrid/remotely.

Job Function:

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial planning, and providing tailored investment strategies that align with clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and expand an existing book of business through proactive client engagement and referrals
Develop personalized financial plans, including investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning strategies
Provide ongoing portfolio management and performance reviews
Identify new business opportunities and drive asset growth
Maintain a high level of client service and trust through regular communication
Stay current on market trends, financial products, and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with all industry rules and company policies

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

Proven track record with a strong, transferable book of business (required)
Previous experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, or similar role
Relevant licenses (e.g., Series 7, Series 63/65 or 66)
Strong knowledge of financial planning, investments, and wealth management strategies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High ethical standards and professional integrity

Compensation:
Competitive compensation package including base salary, commissions, and performance-based incentives, commensurate with experience and book of business size.
