Packaging Technician 1Southside Processing LLC - Elgin, TX 78621Job DescriptionPackaging Technician ISUMMARYUnder the direction of the Production Supervisor/FSQA Manager/Supervisor, packages all raw and smoked products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCuts and packages processed products.Uses shrink machine to wrap packagesLabels all packages according to USDA guidelinesWeighs and prices all packaged productsBoxes all products and prepares them for shippingOperates the packaging machine.Weighs and prices productProduces raw product according to USDASanitizes and maintains packaging equipmentCleans and sanitizes the packaging area according to USDAObserves safety and security standards.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
