Coordinate and collaborate with senior staff to create and guide program-specific outreach. Serve as liaison with local and regional media outlets; write and send press releases, coordinate press conferences, and develop media engagement opportunities. Maintain The Arc’s website content to assure that it is consistently clear, concise, and always ‘on brand’. Create event flyers, sponsor packages, etc., in accordance with The Arc’s branding and graphics standards. Curate a photo and video library of The Arc’s mission moments and training courses Represent The Arc at community awareness and fundraising events. Provide training and support for senior staff and Board Directors as corporate ambassadors. Create and manage fundraising and awareness event logistics to include volunteer recruitment, volunteer management, and in-person, day-of support. Requirements Qualifications A minimum of 3 years’ directly related, hands-on experience. Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities. Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of large-scale events. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational marketing skills. Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, marketing collateral, social media, and digital media. Experience in WordPress, Adobe Photo Illustrator, In-Design, Publisher, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter, and/or related applications and social media platforms. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications. Exceptional oral and written communications skills and attention to detail (English proficiency required; bilingual Spanish a plus). Exceptional attention to detail with strong time management and organizational abilities. Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations or related field. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain stationary and to move about for extended periods of time in an office environment and at off-site events. Must be able to communicate constantly and effectively with staff, vendors, and the community at large telephonically, in-person, and virtually. Must be able to lift and move 30 pounds. Must have a valid, unencumbered Driver’s License. Summary The Marketing & Communications Manager will independently create, coordinate and execute all content to publicize the organization’s activities, mission moments, initiatives, and information through direct mail, organizational collateral, event collateral, newsletter, websites, social media, videos, blogs, advertising, and other available marketing mediums. #J-18808-Ljbffr
