Phlebotomist

Performs phlebotomy tasks in a physician office setting, including blood collection and specimen handling. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience: Knowledge of Medical Laboratory practices, procedures, and terminology; familiarity with lab manuals, formularies, ICD-9, and reference lab procedures. Certification/Licensure: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, obtained within ninety days of hire. Preferred: Certification from ASCP Board of Registry or equivalent. Key Duties Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently. Ensure proper specimen collection, handling, and documentation.
