Join our fast-paced neuro specialty inpatient unit. Opportunity to advance nursing skills utilizing evidence-based practice. Become part of a collaborative team that encourages and helps one another to succeed. Work with a variety of both medical and surgical neuro patients. Post-surgical cases may include spine surgeries, brain tumors, and craniotomies. The neurological patient population may include multiple sclerosis, ALS, and spinal fractures. Provide patient and family-centered care. Partner with a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy services. Daily patient ratios are four per nurse. Floating may be required as needed. This position supports a comprehensive stroke program. Special procedures may be required in caring for complex cases. Telemetry experience is essential for this role.
