Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of experience required; 2 years preferred. Must have strong neuro experience. License: BLS required. Certifications: National certifications preferred. Must-Have: First-timers accepted. On-call required.

Description: This position involves working in the main operating room. The surgical tech will assist with procedures in various specialties including orthopedic, neuro, ENT, vascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotics. Strong neuro experience is a requirement. The manager will discuss shift options during the interview. The clinician is expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Weekend requirements will also be addressed during the interview. All travelers must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized once the assignment is confirmed. All requests for time off must be included before submission. References from a direct supervisor or manager are required. Study materials for orientation will be provided. Modules must be completed prior to the start date and annually, varying by specialty. This facility has a strict policy regarding calling in for shifts. It is a smoke-free facility.
