POSITION: Healthcare Program Manager
SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
FACILITY: NH Regional Office (onsite)
LOCATION: Concord, NH

POSITION SUMMARY


The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of healthcare services for the New Hampshire Dept. of Corrections contract.

• Serve as the liaison and be responsible for working with NH Department of Corrections, Division of Medical & Forensic Services leadership to resolve issues related to health care delivery.
  
  
• Consult with NH Director of Medical & Forensic Services and site administrators regarding health services issues of an administrative nature.
  
  
• Consult with Chief Medical Officer, Chief Psychiatric Officer, Chief Dental Officer and other clinical operating staff regarding unusual clinical issues of a complex nature, which involve patient management.
  
  
• Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the state's overall health care delivery system by acting as a liaison between Wexford Health and the NH Department of Corrections; institution administration, department heads, and subordinates.
  
  
• Executes policies and procedures governing staff compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the facilities of his/her contract.
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS
TRAVEL: May be required to travel to any NHDOC facility
LICENSING: Registered Nurse license preferred
EDUCATION: BSN degree preferred or bachelors level in a related field
EXPERIENCE:


Minimum of give (5) years management experience
Correctional experience a plus.
