Benefits Analyst

Position Summary

The Benefits Analyst supports the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, and retirement plans. This role assists employees with benefits-related inquiries, maintains accurate records, and partners with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth and compliant benefits operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and retirement plans.
• Respond to employee questions regarding eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and claims.
• Support open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefits education.
• Maintain and audit benefits data within HRIS and benefits systems.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve enrollment, billing, and claims issues.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation, reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support benefits projects, process improvements, and system implementations.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of benefits administration, HR, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits compliance regulations (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) is a plus.
