Join our team where you will be primarily responsible for preparing and masking parts before painting. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, particularly with tanks and piping systems that have numerous angles and intricacies. You will spend the majority of your shift spraying, with breaks to mix coatings as needed, often spending several hours in the paint booth at a time.

• Prepare and mask parts prior to painting.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of complex tanks and piping systems.
• Spray paint parts for extended periods, with intermittent breaks for mixing coatings.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as bending, crawling, laying, and kneeling around large tanks.

• 2+ years of blasting experience.
• 1+ years of experience with masking and paint preparation.
• Proficiency in working with industrial paint, spray, and paint prep equipment.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including moving, climbing, and walking.

The position is based in a small custom shop, primarily working with piping companies to paint large tanks, pipes, and parts. The work is conducted on a 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The 2nd shift operates from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Sunday nights.

This is a Permanent position based out of Manitowoc, WI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
