Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care to telemetry patients, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety. Leads and supervises nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting and analyzing relevant health data.
• Develop individualized care plans aimed at achieving desired outcomes.
• Implement and coordinate care strategies, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver holistic care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee nursing staff activities.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a clinical setting, preferably in telemetry or acute care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
