Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our pallet warehouse team. This position is responsible for assisting with the handling, sorting, repairing, stacking, and organizing of wooden pallets while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of performing manual labor, and willing to work as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pallet Assembly: Build pallets on assembly tables according to specifications using pneumatic nail guns while meeting daily production and quality expectations.

• Lumber Cutting: Measure and cut lumber to required specifications using various saws. Ensure all cuts are accurate and consistent.

• Equipment Upkeep: Monitor the slap saw dust collection system and empty the shop vacuum as needed to maintain proper equipment operation.

• Housekeeping and Organization: Sweep floors, remove debris, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist coworkers and supervisors with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures, PPE policies and properly operate tools and equipment in accordance with Federal and States laws and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor in a warehouse environment.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, carry, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn pallet sorting, grading, and repair procedures.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail while working safely as part of a team.

• Previous warehouse, pallet repair, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Work Schedule

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday (6a to 3:30p)

Fridays (6a – 10a)

• Overtime: Available as needed

Work Environment

• Warehouse and industrial work environment.

• Exposure to wood, dust, noise, and changing temperatures.

• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and handling of pallets.

• Safety equipment must be worn as required.
