• 3 days onsite/week) Our client is hiring an R&D Design Engineer to design and refine switch devices, switchgear, and circuit breakers, working alongside international cross-functional teams to bring innovative, reliable solutions to market.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and refine designs for power distribution equipment, including switch devices, switchgear, and circuit breakers
• Lead prototyping and testing phases, analyzing results to validate and refine designs
• Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes
• Identify and implement innovative approaches to improve product functionality, efficiency, and sustainability
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for assigned design initiatives Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in R&D and design roles, specifically in power distribution or electrical equipment
• Direct experience designing switch devices, switchgear, or circuit breakers Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in design software (NX, Teamcenter)
