Electronics Assembly Technician (TEMPORARY)

Electronics Assembly TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician with proven hands-on experience in precision electro-mechanical assembly and fine-pitch soldering. This role will support prototype and low-to-medium volume production of complex electronic assemblies in a fast-paced engineering environment. This is a two to three-month temporary position on-site in Cary, NC.Responsibilities include:Perform precision electro-mechanical assembly of PCB's, chassis, enclosures, and sub-systemsBuild, route, and terminate custom wiring assemblies and cable harnesses to engineering specificationsExecute high-quality soldering and rework on surface-mount and through-hole componentsConduct board-level and system-level troubleshooting using standard test equipment (multi meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)Read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings and BOM'sCreate clear, accurate, and repeatable work instructions and assembly documentationSupport engineering teams during prototype builds, design iterations, and production standardsRequirements include:Minimum two years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly within electronics manufacturing or R&D environmentsExperience building wiring assemblies and complex cable harnessesStrong soldering skills on at least 0402 componentsComfortable reading basic electrical schematics and assembly drawingsStrong verbal and written communication skillsWork Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week as a temporary employeeSignalscape is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
