Warehouse Lead

MISSION is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Lead who can work alongside the team while helping keep daily operations organized, accurate, and moving forward. This is a player-coach role: you will perform warehouse work while also answering questions, training employees, solving day-to-day problems, and helping coordinate priorities. Our seasonal business shifts between D2C fulfillment, high-volume receiving, container unloading, dealer orders, inventory work, and preparation for the next season. What You'll Do Work hands-on across D2C fulfillment, dealer orders, receiving, inventory control, container unloading, freight preparation, and warehouse organization. Help coordinate daily workflow and priorities so orders, receiving, and projects are completed accurately and on time. Lead or support container devanning, product verification, palletizing, put-away, and other high-volume receiving activities. Prepare complex dealer and retail orders, including verification, labeling, pallet configuration, documentation, and routing-guide compliance. Support SPS Commerce and other retailer-specific requirements, along with LTL, full-truckload, and international freight. Maintain inventory accuracy and help investigate discrepancies, process failures, and recurring warehouse issues. Train and support full-time and seasonal employees, reinforce safety and process expectations, and resolve routine floor-level questions. Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment while setting the standard for pace, accuracy, organization, and teamwork. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience. Experience leading, training, coordinating, or directing others; formal supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy with high SKU counts and visually similar products. Comfort with computers, shipping systems, ERP/WMS platforms, and learning new technology. Able to prioritize, solve problems, communicate clearly, and make sound day-to-day decisions. Dependable, hands-on, and willing to take ownership rather than wait for someone else to solve a problem. Forklift experience is preferred; training can be provided as appropriate. Able to perform the physical requirements of warehouse work, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and safely moving product throughout the day. Technology & Freight You do not need to know all of our systems on day one. Comfort with technology and the ability to learn are important. Experience with ShipStation, Acumatica or another ERP/WMS, SPS Commerce, retailer routing guides, LTL/FTL freight, or international shipping is a plus. MISSION is building additional leadership depth in the warehouse. As knowledge and leadership ability develop, this role can take on greater responsibility for daily operations and help supervise a seasonal workforce of approximately 15-20 employees across the warehouse leadership team. What MISSION Offers Pay Range $23-$27 per hour DOE. Year-round, full-time work with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Two weeks of paid vacation to start, with the ability to earn additional vacation over time. Employer-sponsored healthcare. Paid company holidays and between Christmas and New Year's A small-team environment with meaningful responsibility, cross-training, and opportunities to grow.
