Job DescriptionAbout the Position\nThe Regional Driver CDL A operates tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers, and their Vendor's to their final destination. This position may be assigned to business units that require White Glove service that goes beyond standard shipping methods.\nWhy Drive for Kenco?\n\n Competitive Pay:Start at $28.00/hour, with time-and-a-half after40 hoursand double time after60 hours.\n Weekly Compensation:Receive your earnings promptly every week.\n Comprehensive Benefits:Enjoy medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one.\n Generous PTO:Beginaccruinghours of paid time off each week from your first week.\n Safety Incentives:Earn quarterly bonuses formaintainingsafety standards.\n Additional Perks:Annual boot allowance and monthly cellphone reimbursement.\n Sign-On Bonus:Receive a $3,000 bonusin90 days.\n Paid Holidays:10 paid holidays annually.\n Retirement Planning:Access our 401(k) program with a company match\n\nFunctions\n\n Operates tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers to the Vendor's destination.\n Operates the tractor/trailer to ensure that the product is delivered in a timely manner.\n Understands the utilization of secure devices and straps, and monitors freight for secure devices and straps to ensure products are delivered to their final destination undamaged and in their original condition.\n Required to follow company policy, participate in required trainings and keep truck clean.\n Maintains driver's daily logs, trip reports and other documents as required.\n Responsible for performing a full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer.\n Immediately reports all instances of damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.\n Provide White Glove service at every delivery.\n Communicates any delivery issues up line to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager\n Keeps equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements.\n Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment.\n Maintain professional conduct and attitude towards other motorists who share the highway.\n Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations and state laws.\n Perform any other reasonable request as directed by management.\n\nQualifications\n\n Minimum 2 years of tractor trailer Class A driving experience\n Class A CDL required\n Meets FMCSA and company requirements\n Pass Background and Drug Screening.\n Clean driving record\n\nTravel Requirements\n\n This position is expected to travel approximately 75% or greater.\n A passport is not required, but recommended.\n\nDisclosures\n\n For California residents – please enter or copy/paste the address below into your address bar to review an important notice regarding Kenco's privacy policy The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
