Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment
• Float between the Medical/Surgical unit and the Emergency Department as operationally needed
• Perform charge nurse duties as required
• Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 in the Med/Surg setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license — must be in-hand at time of submission
• Minimum prior experience in Medical/Surgical, Emergency Room, and Charge Nurse roles
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• TNCC certification required
• Completed Med/Surg and ER Skills Checklists required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
