Full-Time Laundry Aide – Split Shifts

Greenway Health and Rehab is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team in Grand Bay, Alabama.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and other facility laundry

• Properly label and organize resident clothing and personal items

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely

• Follow proper procedures for handling soiled and contaminated laundry

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

• Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are needed

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures

• Assist with delivering clean laundry to resident rooms and appropriate areas

• Report damaged equipment, lost items, or other concerns to management

• Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff to support resident comfort and satisfaction

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, nursing home, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Reliable attendance and positive attitude

• Ability to work a split-shift schedule

• Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and handle laundry for extended periods

• Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
