Core Room Operator : Montgomery, Illinois
Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois are looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Core Room Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift, with initial training on 1st shift.
Responsibilities of the Core Room Operator:
- Set up and operate large-scale bench machines used for machining metal parts and components.
- Ensure consistent production of high-precision cores according to specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout all operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Core Room Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must wear steel-toed shoes.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read measuring tools.
- Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Pay for Core Room Operator: $20.00/hour
Core Room Operator Benefits:

Schedule: Train on 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) for a few weeks, then move to 2nd Shift (2:30pm – 12:00am), Monday – Saturday
