Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse license in New York State (required)
• 1+ years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience (preferred)
• Experience with geriatric population in long-term care (preferred)
• Experience serving Veteran population (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with residents and encourage participation in care/therapeutic activities
• Maintain supplies through inventory and requisition
• Change and manage linens; assist with basic cleaning tasks
• Assist with washing/dressing deceased as per standard procedures
• Attend mandatory education; participate in fire/disaster preparedness
• Adhere to attendance and facility policies
