What You'll Do:

• Provide expert neonatal care in a 16-bed Level-III NICU setting
• Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary team members on patient care plans
• Assist with newborn nursery coverage and care for critically ill neonates
• Respond to emergencies and participate in daily patient rounds
• Maintain clinical documentation with accuracy and compliance
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and family education

What You Need:

• Valid board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (not FNP/PNP)
• 2+ years of NICU experience as an NNP, excluding RN experience
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care and newborn assessments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

About the Assignment:

This position is based at a well-established, award-winning hospital in Gastonia, NC, renowned for its innovative architecture and family-centered neonatal care. The NICU admits approximately 320 neonates annually, and the unit features single-room patient care in a luxury setting. The NNP will work in a collaborative environment with neonatologists, supporting newborns and their families in a Level-III NICU. The facility is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Charlotte, offering a vibrant community with great amenities and a supportive professional atmosphere.
