Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and quality control, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Rebuild/Production department supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: $21 - $23/hr depending on experience 

Shift:  Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm + OT

What's the Job?

• Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials to ensure quality standards are met before storage.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections on components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
• Identify and control non-conforming products, ensuring proper containment to prevent use or shipment.
• Document inspection findings accurately and certify products prior to shipment release.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts by documenting opportunities and participating in problem-solving teams.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of welding and/or quality control experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency with inspection tools such as rulers, tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges (both analog and digital).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings for inspection planning.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is preferred.
