Newscast Director

Job Description

WBFF is looking for an Overdrive Director for our newscasts. Responsibilities:

• Show build (using Ross Overdrive) and direct any assigned newscasts and productions
• Help oversee show production on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned

Requirements:

• 2-5 years experience directing newscasts
• Experience with Ross Overdrive is a huge plus
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Strong typing and spelling skills
• The ability to read and write
• A college degree is preferred
• Must be able to lift and position 25 pound lighting instruments

The hourly compensation range for this role is $21.05 to $24.76. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
