Ideal candidates will possess:
- Active state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
- Prior experience in schools, providing both assessment and counseling services
- Strong knowledge of psycho-educational evaluations, IEP process, and MTSS/RTI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to support diverse learning needs in a K–12 setting
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional growth
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments
- Collaborating in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Providing counseling, intervention, and crisis support for students
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participating actively in eligibility, placement, and team meetings
- Offering support for summer programming and extended school year initiatives as needed
- Maintaining detailed and confidential student records in compliance with legal requirements
