Senior Director, Gilead Patient Solutions Public Affairs

Senior Director role leading public affairs strategy for Gilead Patient Solutions across 140+ low- and lower-middle-income countries. Reports to Executive Director of Intercontinental Public Affairs and develops integrated communications, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with patient access and public health priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated communications and advocacy strategy advancing patient access and company priorities across 140 countries
• Lead external communications reinforcing Gilead's trusted global health partnership role with message discipline
• Partner with cross-functional teams on stakeholder engagement strategies with NGOs, patient organizations, and advocacy coalitions
• Serve as senior strategic advisor to Executive Director and regional leadership on complex communications matters
• Prepare senior leaders for media, conferences, NGO meetings and external stakeholder engagements

Requirements

• 15+ years public affairs experience in regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector
• Demonstrated expertise in global health communications and advocacy strategies
• Deep experience managing complex stakeholder relationships with NGOs and patient organizations
• Proven crisis management and issues mitigation capabilities in international settings
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements across diverse regulatory environments
• Executive-level strategic communication and leadership counseling skills
