Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Houston, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse, Houston, TX This position involves providing specialized care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a healthcare facility. The role supports patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, ensuring high-quality, compassionate maternity care. Job Details Position Description: Care for laboring patients, circulating cesarean sections, and managing postpartum and antepartum patients within a 9-bed Labor, Delivery, and Recovery unit. Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; must be bilingual in Spanish; experience with Electronic Medical Record systems (Meditech/CPNT); and a minimum of 0 years of experience. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with at least 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Must have outgoing personality, be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues and providers, and follow unit policies and guidelines. Must work four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.
