Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview

Per Diem CRNA position at BID Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), within the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. The role is part of a collaborative anesthesia care team in a 160‑bed community hospital serving Cape Cod. The surgical suite includes eight state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms and a pre‑op area connected to a spacious PACU. The ORs are equipped with laparoscopic equipment and offer brain‑lab image‑guided surgery for complex spine procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in the operating rooms for a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, sports medicine, GYN, ENT, urology, bariatrics, thoracic, vascular, endoscopy, EP, OB, and minimal healthy pediatrics.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia care team, ensuring individualized case fit and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical rotations from local universities and support the learning environment for SRNAs.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a passion for patient care.
• Experience or willingness to work in a team‑based, advanced scope of practice setting.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $200 – $225 per hour. Compensation may be adjusted based on academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geographic location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. Eligible CRNAs may also receive performance‑based incentives, including bonuses for productivity and quality.
