This position reports to the Pad or Autoline Supervisor. Forklift Operators are assigned to transport palletized product from the production area to the inventory pad. Forklift Operators may also load flatbed trucks and customers as needed. This position is required to follow the same production work schedule as assigned to Autoline Operators (Slow Season 6am to 4:30pm M-F (occasional Sat), Busy Season 6am to 6:30pm M-Sat). We expect forklift operators to perform tasks in a safe and professional manner and to maintain a professional demeaner when engaging with customers and coworkers.A successful candidate for this position will ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule and as directed. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.If you possess the applicable skills and have a proven track record, we want to speak with you!## Key Responsibilities* Safely and efficiently transport palletized product via forklift from the production area to the inventory pad.* Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.* Follow all standard operating procedures and processes related to transporting product within and from the autoline production area.* Safety gear is required and expected to be worn at all times (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, & gloves).* Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.## Job Qualifications* Ability to work +/- 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed)* Forklift/Spyder experience is required (certification is required).* Bilingual a plus* Must pass a drug screen.* Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.* Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk for short periods.* Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the workday (lifting mulch/soil bags, trash debris, etc).* Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders.* Must be able to work outside for periods of time in all weather.* Must be able to work in a dusty environment (tolerate various types of work dust).## **Benefits**We offer highly competitive salaries and premium benefits as we continue to strive to create a rewarding work environment.
