Sr Manager, Gross Margin Improvement

Abbott seeks a Senior Manager for Gross Margin Improvement to lead cost and productivity enhancement programs in the Heart Failure Division. The role involves directing large-scale initiatives, collaborating across functions, and driving measurable financial improvements while reporting to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead division-wide gross margin improvement program and report progress to executive steering committee
• Design and execute long-term value creation projects with defined metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate across sites and functions to establish goals, develop project pipelines, and manage risks
• Develop and deploy sustaining tools and processes to support ongoing operational improvements
• Conduct benchmarking analysis and develop roadmap for cost of goods sold reduction milestones

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience in healthcare or medical device sector
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving with documented tangible results
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences
• Experience leading large, complex global projects with multi-level management teams
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
• PMP certification preferred

Compensation: $148,700–$297,300 base
