Help Desk Support Specialist

CMK Resources is hiring a Help Desk Support Specialist ! In this role, you’ll be a part of the technical support function, helping end users resolve issues with software, hardware, and systems across a distributed team with our client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong troubleshooting mindset, great communication skills, and a desire to work in a collaborative, user-focused environment. Day to Day Responsibilities: Respond to incoming requests for assistance (phone, chat, portal, email) from users experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, or other technologies. Interview users to gather context and walk them through diagnostics to identify problems. Become a subject matter expert in internal software systems (print and order management) and provide Tier 2 support. Analyze and determine root causes; escalat**e** issues to development teams or vendors as needed. Track and document support interactions using IT Service Management tools. Recommend improvements to processes to reduce ticket volume and improve user experience. Collaborate with external software vendors to identify enhancements and recommend changes. Perform software/hardware testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Create and maintain Knowledge Base documentation. Install and set up desktop/laptop systems and peripherals for corporate staff. Perform other related support duties as needed. Qualifications: Willingness to be onsite 3 days a week - Tues-Thurs - in Lakewood, CO Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Technical ability to troubleshoot both software and hardware (networking experience a plus) Self-motivation and ability to manage tasks to completion Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Preferred but not required: Experience in a print shop, business center, or retail shipping environment #J-18808-Ljbffr CMK Resources, Inc.
