FP&A Director

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Director to provide strategic financial leadership for a long-term contract opportunity based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will guide planning, reporting, and performance analysis while working closely with senior stakeholders to support informed business decisions. This position also oversees the FP&A team and helps maintain strong alignment across budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting activities.Responsibilities:• Direct the day-to-day work of the FP&A function (primarily Corporate FP&A), offering leadership to the team while strengthening core planning and analysis operations.• Oversee recurring monthly and quarterly financial reporting, delivering meaningful insights, performance metrics, and variance analysis to leadership.• Prepare materials and analysis for executive reviews, ensuring presentations are clear, accurate, and aligned with business priorities.• Lead the annual budget cycle, including the development of a detailed bottom-up plan that reflects operational goals and financial expectations.• Work closely with department leaders to assess forecasts, question underlying assumptions, and help shape realistic financial plans.• Promote strong coordination across business units to improve accountability, decision-making, and execution against financial targets.• Build and refine financial models that support scenario planning, business performance evaluation, and strategic recommendations.• Support reporting and analysis through tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Workday Financials where applicable.
