Position: Behavioral Respite Clinical ManagerPay Range: $120,000-$150,000 PER YRReporting To: VP of Clinical & Direct Care ServicesWork Type: On-sitePOSITION SUMMARY:The Behavioral Respite Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership and oversight for the Behavioral Respite program serving individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based behavioral services, supervising clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with all Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards and applicable state regulations.The Clinical Manager plays a critical role in developing individualized behavior intervention strategies, monitoring client progress, and supporting staff and families through training and supervision.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.Clinical Oversight & Program DevelopmentReview individualized client plans provided by state/regional agencies and translate them into effective, client-centered behavior intervention plansDevelop and oversee implementation of behavior support plans for use by Behavioral Respite ProfessionalsEnsure all interventions align with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Design and implement meaningful data collection systems tied to consumer goals (skill acquisition and behavior reduction)Monitor consumer progress through ongoing data review and adjust plans as neededStaff Supervision & TrainingProvide clinical supervision to Behavioral Respite Professionals to ensure fidelity of behavior plan implementationConduct competency assessments for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) candidates in accordance with Behavior Analyst certification Board requirementsDelivering ongoing supervision to RBTs, ensuring compliance with supervision standardsProvide coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff across all levelsTraining & EducationFacilitate RBT exam preparation study groups for staff pursuing certificationDevelop and deliver parent/caregiver training sessions (individual and group formats)Provide education on behavior management strategies, data collection, and skill-building techniquesData & Quality AssuranceEstablish and maintain systems for data collection, analysis, and reportingEnsure documentation meets regulatory, ethical, and organizational standardsUse data to drive clinical decisions and continuous program improvementSupport audits and ensure program compliance with state and funding requirementsCollaboration & LeadershipCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Case Managers and Regional CentersServe as the clinical point of contact for program-related concernsContribute to program development, policies, and strategic growth initiativesPromote a culture of ethical practice, accountability, and continuous learningGeneral Responsibilities & ComplianceConduct all functions in accordance with agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.Driving may be required throughout territories we services.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing through the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardMaster’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related fieldMinimum 5 year’s experience providing ABA servicesMinimum 2 year’s experience supervising RBTs and/or clinical staffStrong knowledge of behavior plan development, data analysis, and ABA methodologiesExperience in Respite care, crisis intervention, or short-term behavioral support settings preferredLeadership or program development experience preferredFamiliarity with California Regional Center systems and regulations preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).Close vision requirements due to computer work.Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).Driving (up to 10% of the time). #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom
