Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray and CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging procedures on both inpatient and outpatient populations, adhering to safety and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain radiologic X-ray and CT equipment to produce clear diagnostic images.
• Process and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper technique and patient positioning.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver effective diagnostic services.
• Ensure all imaging procedures are documented accurately in patient records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Complete radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
• At least 3 years of experience in radiology, including CT scan procedures.
• Current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
• ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to operate teleradiology and fax equipment efficiently.
