The 2nd shift Warehouse Lead oversees warehouse operations during the evening shift (4:00 pm - 12:30 am - Monday - Friday, managing a team of 5 members. This role focuses on receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and maintaining smooth workflow across receiving, storage, and shipping functions. Ensuring safety compliance and effective communication within the team are key priorities, with no travel required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead a 5-member team during the 2nd shift
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Oversee order fulfillment including picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage shift handover to ensure seamless operational continuity
- Balance focus across receiving, storage, and shipping activities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in warehouse operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Inventory management expertise
- Forklift operation certification or experience
- Proven team leadership and shift scheduling skills
- Strong understanding of safety compliance
- Effective communication abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Time management proficiency
