Transition Consultant I

You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesDevelop implementation plans for review by senior managerWork independently to identify required tasks and initiate activitySupervise and guide less senior project staff in implementation of the workServe as the client’s onsite point of contact for related workFacilitate project meetings with client, vendors, move coordinators, etc.Develop information for review by more senior staff before presentation to owner for decision makingImplement the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment PlanDevelop monthly report for review by more senior staff prior to submissionPrepare scopes of work for competitive procurementsMonitor adherence to contractProvide input into and participate in performance reviews, as requestedAct as owner’s representative in managing onsite vendors during activation and move timeframesQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBS or MS degree in related field2-5 years of project management experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access)Excellent listening skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsConstruction document and drawing literateKnowledge of BIM360, CADD, BluebeamAbility to travel and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessaryMove management/project activation supportSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For (Insert State) this ranges from $60,000.00-$78,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
