Facilities Manager

The Dartmouth Group is hiring a Facilities Manager for its community in Bourne, MA. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostlyexterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition toother exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safelymaintained. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained. Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed. Landscaping: prune and cut-back trees and bushes; light fence repair. Carpentry: drywall, paint, patch, repair, roof patch and light repair. Light electrical: change out light bulbs, light fixtures, light sockets, and photocell light sensors. Janitorial: take out trash and general cleaning. Conduct pool water testing. Willingness to obtain CPO, company paid. Other projects as requested. High School Diploma or GED Required. 2+ years of general, residential, maintenance experience. Excellent communication skills, written and spoken. Customer service focused and team oriented. Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills. Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.); OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements and State or local governmental safety requirements. Time management and time critical prioritization skills. Valid driver's license is required.
