Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Blended ICU/CVICU team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care for adults and geriatrics in an intensive care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care, but CVICU experience is preferred but not required. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with various critical conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, and more.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a blended ICU environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and document changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Participate in unit meetings and educational opportunities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with critical care emphasis.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred.
• Must be willing to float to Intermediate Care Unit or ED holding as necessary.
