Now Hiring: Passionate Behavior Technician or RBTABA SHINE is looking for a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide urgent case 1:1 behavior respite in Discovery Bay, CA.Position: Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Location: Home-based, Bay Discovery BayCompensation: $30–$35 per hourShifts: Part-time 8 hours weekend shift every Saturday and potentially both Saturdays and Sundays.About the Case: We are urgently seeking experienced and reliable Behavior Technicians or RBTs to provide 1:1 support for a sweet young teen male, 10 y Male. The position involves helping with hygiene and showers. The client is very sweet and has behavioral concerns. Very easy redirect and managed.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 direct behavior support and supervisionImplement behavior intervention strategies as directed by a BCBAEnsure client safety and de-escalate aggressive or unsafe behaviorAccurately document session notes and incident reportsCollaborate with facility staff and clinical teamRequirements:RBT certification or strong experience in behavior support/crisis interventionAbility to manage high-intensity behaviors professionally and safelyMale candidates are preferred due to the client's specific needsMust be reliable, patient, and physically capable of managing aggressive episodesLivescan, CPR, and TB clearance required (or willingness to obtain quickly)What We Offer:Flexible scheduling – multiple shifts availableClinical support and ongoing supervisionOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on a high-need caseCompensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourMission Statement: The core value of our practice is inspired by Burrhus Frederic Skinner and Dr. Ole Ivar Lovaas.
