Sr. Field Technician

This role is responsible for the effective installation, final testing and commissioning of audio-visual systems. You must be able to lead a team of subcontractors on multi-room projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to provide documented results from system commissioning.

Non-exempt (hourly), monthly cell phone stipend and car allowance.

Ability to:

• Review and understand Scope of Work (SOW) and other system functional documentation
• Read and understand AV wiring drawings, AV architectural drawings, and cable pull schedules
• Function as a client liaison and onsite project manager
• Coordinate AV requirements with General Contractors and other trades
• Lead and supervise a team of installation subcontractors
• Perform AV installations as needed
• Provide daily status reports
• Review physical system installations for proper wiring, cable dressing, terminations, and labeling
• Test point to point functionality of a system
• Load, test, troubleshoot, and commission control system programs
• Load, test, troubleshoot, and commission audio DSP systems, including fine tuning of gain structure and AEC
• Configure, troubleshoot and commission IP network AV systems
• Perform complete integrated AV system commission
• Create punch list and track towards resolution
• Perform end user training on AV system operation

Valid and clean driver's license

5 Years AV industry experience

OHSA-40/SST Certification

AVIXA CTS or CTS-I Certification
