Position Details Minimum Required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Age: 18 years of age or older Licensure: Valid State driver’s license; valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required Experience: Meets or surpasses all requirements of Public Safety Officer IV Functional Job Screening Certification/Registration: N/A Other Skills and Knowledge: At least 24 months of active employment with Mercy Public Safety/Security Department (or equivalent training, education and/or job experience) Completed CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) course or equivalent Supervises officers, processes or programs as directed by the Public Safety Coordinator, Manager or Director (including but not limited to Shift Supervisor, Safety program, Emergency Management Program, Armorer/Firearms Instructor, Omnigo report system, Property management, Access control system, Surveillance System) Completes Coaching for Growth LEAD129 within 90 days of advancement Completes Coaching for Performance Improvement LEAD147 within 90 days of advancement Completes Inclusive Leadership LEAD204 within 90 days of advancement Completes specialized training regarding program or process which is being supervised within 180 days of advancement (if classes above are changed or discontinued, class of equivalent nature may be substituted) Preferred Qualifications Education: College degree Licensure: Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required Experience: Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience Certification/Registration: N/AOther Skills and Knowledge: Completes IAHSS Basic Training and Certification Program within 12 months of advancement Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Tuition support Matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period Collaboration and growth opportunities within a caring team #J-18808-Ljbffr MHM Support Services
