Senior Accountant

Our staffing firm is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant for a directhire opportunity in Erlanger, KY. This role is critical to supporting ongoing business growth, acquisition integration, and increasing accounting complexity across operations.

This is a handson, highownership position suited for an experienced accountant who enjoys autonomy, accountability, and being closely involved in daytoday accounting operations.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts
  
• Support a fastpaced monthend close, including financial reporting and analysis
  
• Reconcile cash, fixed assets, intercompany activity, and bank accounts
  
• Prepare internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and yearend workpapers
  
• Prepare tax forms (1099s, related filings) and support audits and government correspondence
  
• Support ERP integration, process improvements, and crossfunctional accounting operations
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  
  
• At least 5 years of general ledger experience
  
• SAP software experience helpful
  
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups)
  
• Experience in manufacturing or complex operating environments
  
• Comfortable working 100% onsite
  
• Confident, proactive, and selfdirected
  

Pay Details: $79,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
